WHAT IS A BUILDING DESIGNER?
A building designer is a skilled professional who plays a pivotal role in the conceptualization and documentation of your building project. While sharing similar responsibilities with registered architects, building designers are not authorized to undertake full project management or handle large-scale commercial projects.

Since completing my Diploma in Building Design in 2018 (DPLM BUILDING DESIGN (CPP50911), I have dedicated the past five years to working as a building designer in the construction industry. During this time, I have had the privilege of serving the local ACT region and the surrounding NSW districts, collaborating with various design and building companies.
Driven by a genuine passion for functional aesthetics, I have honed my skills in working closely with clients to design and document their homes, extensions, and alterations to existing properties. It brings me immense satisfaction to bring their visions to life while ensuring the functionality and aesthetic appeal of their spaces
What truly drives me is the gratification of engaging with clients and serving as their trusted building design service provider throughout the entire process, from concept to completion. It is this joy of client interaction and the satisfaction of seeing their visions come to life that inspired me to establish my own business.
At my small business, we prioritize residential and small commercial projects. We particularly enjoy working with clients who require comprehensive design advice or have a completed concept that demands a keen eye for detail and the expertise to turn it into reality. We are based in the ACT and offer Building Design and Drafting Services throughout the ACT and NSW. Additionally, we provide limited remote services for smaller projects across Australia.

WHAT ARE THE GENERAL TIMEFRAMES FOR YOUR SERVICES?
The timeframe for our services depends on the scale and demand of each project. Typically, drawings are completed within two weeks upon client acceptance. However, larger or more complex projects may require additional time.
WHAT DRAFTING SOFTWARE DO YOU USE?
We use Autodesk Revit for all our drafting services, allowing us to create detailed designs with precision. Additionally, we can produce DWG files, providing compatibility with clients and contractors who use other CAD software.
