Our client approached us after recently purchasing a block in Whitlam, with the goal of creating a well-designed home as an owner-builder. Working closely with the client, we reviewed their requirements and developed a design that responded to the compact, sloping nature of the site while maximising functionality, space and natural flow.

The resulting split-level residence features five bedrooms, including a generous master suite with its own private balcony taking advantage of the stunning views across Whitlam. Bathrooms are provided across both levels for added convenience, while the home incorporates formal and family living areas alongside an open-plan kitchen and dining space, creating a balance between private and shared areas.

A double garage provides practical accommodation at the front of the home, while the rear opens onto a generous alfresco area designed for entertaining and enjoying the outdoor setting. The contemporary design combines modern amenities with a considered response to the site's slope, creating a functional and comfortable family home tailored to the client's vision.
